FAQ

Questions, answered

Can’t find your answer? Send Liz a message.

How far in advance should I order?

Celebration cakes need at least a week’s notice, bakes a few days. Weddings and big orders: as early as you can, as dates fill up. Pre-order boxes have their own cut-off date shown on the product.

Do you deliver?

All orders are collected from Alvaston, Derby. The exception is wedding cakes, which Liz delivers and sets up at your venue.

How do I pay?

You don’t pay online yet. When Liz confirms your order she’ll send deposit and payment details. A deposit secures your date.

Can you make vegan or gluten-free cakes?

Yes. Vegan and gluten-free options are available on many cakes and bakes. Liz’s kitchen handles all allergens, so she can’t guarantee anything is free from traces. Please read the allergen information.

Can I have a theme or character?

Absolutely. Use the cake builder or the Themed Character Cake, and tell Liz the theme. Toppers and edible images are made by Maggie Anna Cakes & Treats.

How should I store my cake?

Keep it somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight, ideally in its box. Buttercream cakes are best eaten within 3 days; bring to room temperature before serving.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Message Liz as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable once she’s bought ingredients or turned other orders away. Full terms are on the Terms page.
